JOB TYPE: Full Time, M-F, 8am-5pm

EDUCATION: Associate/Bachelor degree preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Inside Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for selling products using exceptional telephone skills and be highly focused on providing customers with exceptional care and service. Inside Sales are responsible for providing our customers and prospects with fast, accurate product quotes, soliciting profitable orders, order entry and ongoing customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Inside Sales gather data and actively listen to prospective and existing customers to fully understand their needs, uncover their problems, and identify needs
Accurately and quickly process and track orders
Facilitate inventory control
Expediting orders and order status updating
Order entry and processing
Responding to quotation requests, entering and monitoring blanket orders
Handles service processes including order processing of standard and special products, returns, credits, expediting, price deviations and web shopping application
Handle customer complaints

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in the Industrial Distribution industry
Strong with customer service skills, organizational skills, & excellent communication skills required
Experience in the Industrial Distribution industry is preferred
Computer literate, capable of working in standard office software formats (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point)
Exceptional phone etiquette skills
